Can't Breath: Wow what a question. Unfortunately without more information, i can't tell you. It depends on circumstances at the time of your shortness of breath. It could simple. Given you are 64 years old, your heart is high on list. Pvcs, pacs, paroxysmal atrial fibrillation, ischemia from a blockage. Copd, asthma, pleurisy, pneumonia, blood clots as well.
