The : The information provided by dr. Jakubowicz is excellent. Tinnitus can be an obstinent condition to treat. You might consider using chinese scalp acupuncture by a medical doctor who is trained in acupuncture. This can sometimes be beneficial.

The : The causes of tinnitus are many, and the treatment needs to be individualized, you likely have some noise induced hearing loss with tinnitus, and this may respond to medications like Neurontin (gabapentin) or a benzodiazepine. Other techniques like tinnitus retraining therapy may help where an audiologist finds the frequency of your noise and tries to eliminate it. An excellent website for sufferers of tinnitus is from the american tinnitus association http://www.Ata.Org/for-patients/tips the techniques listed by the other doctors are correct that tinnitus is worse when the ambient noise level is low and playing background music or white noise may make it less noticeable, but each case may have a unique cause and the more you can describe when it occurs and relate it to things like blood pressure or exercise or straining, the more likely the doctor will be able to make it better. Finally since your tinnitus is unilateral, an MRI of your brain and iac is indicated to rule out a mass in the nerve of hearing. Good luck.

Repeat the test: Sometimes it takes up to a weeks for the urine test to turn +. If you feel pregnant and continue to have a negative urine test i suggest that you have the more definitive blood test.

Water retention: It could be other things, but probably some lingering hormonal changes like water retention. If you think pregnancy is possible, then do a test.

Many reasons: The clinic should have already told you possible causes, could be pregnant or problems with your female hormones you need the results of the blood and cultures and i recommend getting a pelvic ultrasound by a gyn doctor.

The flu?: The symptoms indicate your body is fighting off some nasty infection. Serious and treatable infections need to be excluded. If none found, most likely it is viral flu.

Sounds like virus: Sounds like a viral "enteritis" - basically a "stomach flu". Viral gastrointestinal infections can not only be tedious to get through, they can also be quite serious in a small child. With symptoms of that duration in a 2 y/o you may need to get reassurance from a pediatrician or urgent care doctor that he/she is staying hydrated enough (as 2 y/o's don't have much reserve). Hope this helps!
