What could my severe pain be? the pain i am having is located on my left side below my ribs but above my hip, there are no bruises or anything, and it started just today. i have not done anything to try to help it except relax. i would really like to know

Left : Left sided abdominal pain if you are a female could be ovarian pain (ovulation related), premenstrual pain, or even infectious. In a male or female, this could be musculoskeletal, intestinal infection, urinary tract infection, diverticulosis, gas, etc. If your pain is still present, please see your doctor for a medical evaluation.
