Right side: Pain and tenderness in that area is suspicious of gall bladder disease Other possibilities include muscle strain or inflammation, liver or right kidney pathology. Appendicitis or right ovarian pathology usually causes tenderness lower on the right side. Your physician will examine you and order the appropriate tests in order to make a diagnosis.
