From : From your history and explanation of symptoms, it sounds like you are dealing with thrush. Thrush is a yeast infection that affects the mouth and tongue. It can result from a person taking antibiotics. This happens because the antibiotics tends to kill bacteria in your body (both good and bad bacteria) the good bacteria , believe it or not, maintains a normal balance in your mouth, and when this is interrupted (by antibiotics in your case) yeast tends to overgrow and cause infection. The treatment is with an anti-fungal medication that is oral. You "swish" it around in your mouth then swallow it. It can only be prescribed by a doctor. If you are unable to see your doctor, you can go to an urgent care or walk in clinic for treatment. Good luck.

Yeast: A normal inhabitant of your mouth along with bacteria is yeast. An antibiotic can upset the normal balance by killing the friendly bacteria. Yeast over grows causes white coating. An anti fungal medication like Diflucan (fluconazole) pill or Nystatin rinse or Mycelex troches (lozenge) is usually very effective.
