Not a big fan: Xanax (alprazolam) is not a great medication for ongoing use to treat anxiety; antidepressants usually are much better. That said, anxiety and adhd often co-exist, and it is common to treat both for best effect. Some nonstimulants such as atomoxetine and Guanfacine may help with both adhd and anxiety.
