Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) : Adderall is an amphetamine salt so i assume that you are not taking Adderall and amphetamine salts? According to the drugs.Com database, there are no interactions listed for xanax (alprazolam) and adderall. As long as you take them as directed by your doctor, you should be fine. If you have any questions about specific side effects or your dosages, you should contact the doctor who prescribed them.

Not a big fan: Xanax (alprazolam) is not a great medication for ongoing use to treat anxiety; antidepressants usually are much better. That said, anxiety and adhd often co-exist, and it is common to treat both for best effect. Some nonstimulants such as atomoxetine and Guanfacine may help with both adhd and anxiety.
