It : It sounds like you were extremely sensitive to the pain medication you recieved while you were in the emergency room. Some narcotic medication have amnesia side effects (where you do not remember all or parts of the day) while the med is on board. It is prudent to find out what medications you recieved in the er that day and report your reaction to your doctor. It does not sound like you were in a coma or that you had a stroke - it sounds like you were extremely sensitive and sedated from the medication. However if you continue to feel sluggish and are slurring your speech, seek emergency medical attention.
