What are the health risks for sedation? are there long term health risks due to heavy sedation?

Short term : Risks include hypotension and respiratory depression. You should be properly monitored and the medication should be administered by a dedicated, well trained physician. The only long term risks relate directly to complications experienced during the procedure.
