Does sedation for colonoscopy pose any risks for someone with brain damage?

not usually, but: During procedure, no issue, but as sedation wears off, could see more confusion and disorientation which would be quite transient. Very rarely, could encounter brief delirium. All is easily handled by selection of agent for conscious sedation. Discuss fully with your doctor, and avoid complications.
