Ear infection: Provided you had a bacterial ear infection, you should have improvement of symptoms within 1-2 days of treatment. However, the fluid that builds up from an infection can take a while longer to be reabsorbed, up to 5-7 days. If no improvement of symptoms, or if symptoms worsen, call your doctor.
