Try Artificial Tears: Try using artificial tears four times per day. Do not use red-out drops. If your symptoms do not improve or your vision is blurry, you should be seen by an eye md.

Shampoo: Shampoo is generally well tolerated in the eye. However, a large dose to the eye coupled with a sensitivity can lead to discomfort and discharge as the eye heals. It is always a good idea to see an eye doctor to evaluate this. Also make sure the eye has been flushed appropriately and then use over the counter artificial tears to help soothe the eye.
