Conjunctivitis: Conjunctivitis (pink eye) in young children usually is caused by viruses. If the same virus is circulating among kids in her day care, she probably is immune to reinfection. However, if bacterial, she could catch it again. But there is nothing to do for now. If your baby develops new pink-eye, contact the pediatrician's office right away for possible re-treatment.

Mgt: I would suggest seeing your PCP . The infection may be bacterial and a new prescription may be indicated.
