Do benign lung nodules grow, and is it possible for a carcinoid not to have any growth in 8 months?

Yes: Benign nodules can grow. It is possible that a carcinoid grows very slowly and does not appear to enlarge on scans over the 8 month period.

Yes, but slowly.: Even benign lung tumors like carcinoids can grow slowly. It is possible that a carcinoid tumor might not grow significantly in 8 months. If there is no growth, it is reasonable to continue to follow the lesion.
