Is ganglion cyst on the foot safe to be removed by chiropodist?

Sure: Though I am not sure you will find a chiropodist anymore. Most are referred to as podiatrists. At least, in United States. I am unsure of other countries.

Yes: In actuality, there are no chiropodists anymore. The name and training changed in 1963 to podiatry. Almost all podiatrists are trained in all forms of foot surgery. You may want to check if the podiatrist you go to is either board certified or board qualified in foot surgery. This is a procedure that is routinely performed by podiatrists.

Training: You need to find out if the provider is surgically trained and board certified. In some countries chiropodists are surgeons but this term has gone by the wayside in the us and most are more appropriately called podiatrists or podiatric surgeons.
