Depends: ..On how you define "heal". Usually that refers to the extraction site being recovered with skin which will happen fairly quickly but often the indentation or depression that results from removal of a tooth or the surrounding bone will take months to fully remodel leaving no evidence of your surgery. If the hole in your mouth is not covered by skin after 5 weeks, go back for a followup exam.

It is healed.: I did heal. The hole that was left will continue to fill in a little, but never completely up to there any of the tooth was.
