Yes, its safe.: It should be fine. Invisalign plastic is fairly strong & durable. Also, you'll be switching out of your aligners on a 2 week basis, so even if the current aligner starts to thin, you'll be switching into your next set fairly soon. If, however, you and your dentist discover that the aligners aren't withstanding your grinding, then you may need to switch trad'l braces.

Yes: Invisalign actually might help with the grinding. It acts like a thin nightguard.

Yes.: The pair of upper and lower clear aligners position plastic between your teeth. You may yet "grind" or brux and that might damage the aligners over time, but you will be changing them every 2 weeks. After orthodontics, a new bruxism guard may be required to protect your new smile.

Yes, of course: Wearing the aligners will protect your teeth if your grind them at night. You may want to look into biofeedback to break the habit.

Yes: The Invisalign trays may even reduce your grinding. Would recommend that you see an Orthodontic Specialist for best treatment result with clear Aligners. Know also that Braces do a better job than Aligners, which means better post-treatment stability.
