2-3days: It is dependent on the amount of inflammation at time of surgery; also on the person and what you call recovery. I have had patients who have gone back to work within 3 days and some not for 3 weeks.

1-2weeks: The recovery from a laparoscopic appendectomy often has more to do with how sick you were from the appendicitis and your baseline health rather than the pain from the incisions. If your appendix was ruptured, your body may even need longer to recover.

Depends: What work do you do? If it were a straight forward surgery without a lot of infection, one may be able to go back to work in about a week or so. Do not want to do heavy lifting work until released by your surgeon in possibly 4-6 weeks.

Days-to-week(s): Following laparoscopic appendectomy, the recovery is primarily dependent on the severity of the appendicitis rather than the postoperative pain from surgery. Most people are home from the hospital in a day, feeling well enough to return to work in about a week, and back to full activities within 2 weeks.
