Follow the Rules: Customs vary quite a bit amongst surgeons with respect to how they advise their patients to care for wounds postop. I use "super glue" over absorbable suture w/o any dressing; my patients can shower the day after surgery. If your surgeon made no mention of using a dressing after showering, you are probably "good-to-go", but it's no harm to ask his/her office. Good luck!

Incisions: No need to put bandages on the incisions. Just dry them off.
