Depends on: What you do at work. Activity level is different in different occupations. But general rule is about one week, give or take a few days. Ask your surgeon for specific recommendations.

Depends on the work: If my patients do heavy work, like construction or warehousing, I restrict them for about 2-4 weeks. If they do supervisory, office or professional type work, they may return to work when they feel well. On average this is about a week or two.
