A member asked:

My wisdom teeth stitches fell out, leaving a pretty big hole in my mouth. not a hole like you'd think though. its more on my cheek, not where my tooth?

Not a problem: The incision is purposely made out toward your cheek to avoid an important sensory nerve for the tongue. The hole will close up. You just need to keep everything clean.

You will be fine: The extraction site will heal fine. The incision for the lower wisdom teeth extends to where the cheek begins giving the illusion of an incision into the cheek. This is fine and your gums will heal great.
