Wisdom tooth healing: It is common for there to be some pain in your jaw and back teeth after wisdom tooth extraction as you are going thru a healing phase. Have you had your stitches removed yet? Call the extracting dentist. They can best advise you at this point since they know your condition.

Not unusual: You had surgery, the extent of which is unknown to anyone other than your surgeon, and possibly yourself. It is not uncommon for the adjacent teeth to be sore after an extraction. If anti-inflammatory pain meds are not helping, please call your oral surgeon.

It is normal: Post operative pain after lower wisdom tooth surgery may last up to 7 - 14 days before completely subsiding. Salt water rinses, NSAIDs OTC or Tylenol (acetaminophen) will manage the pain. If concerned, see your surgeon for post-op evaluation.
