Bone or soft tissue: A number of things are possibilities. You could have healed the fracture in a sub optimal position or there may have been cartlidge damage to your ankle joint at the time of injury. You also may not have fully healed fracture. I would go to see an orthopedic foot and ankle surgeon to get a definitive diagnosis and treatment for this. One in your area can be found at www.Aofas.Org.
