You still have many months ahead before you get through this major injury. Your doctor is your best source for information concerning your injury. Discuss with your physical therapist.

Certainly possible to affect nerves in your foot when there is a structural ankle injury. Common nerve involvement includes posterior tibial at the tarsal tunnel and sural nerve, but impossible to be precise in absence of an exam and additional information. This should gradually improve as healing proceeds. Have your doctor assess this just to be complete.
