Maybe: I personally do not use anti-psychotics for pain management. I could not say that it is never used, as I am sure some docs use this and other anti-psychotics for pain management, but this is not the indication for the drug.

Not usually: It is more common in chronic pain to add specific classes of antidepressants to the treatment. Clozapine is a 2nd generation antipsychotic not an antidepressant. Discuss this possibility with your physician.

Clozapine: Although atypical antipsychotics have reportedly been tried for chronic pain, I don't know anyone who does this. Clozaril (for schizophrenia) has possible serious side effects & requires rigid monitoring. I don't think it would be a wise choice. REF:
