Timing: Sinusitis is about both symptoms and how long you've had the symptoms. Many common colds can have colored drainage, but if the symptoms have been around for more than 7 days or are getting worse after 5 days , then you may be developing sinusitis. If you are really uncomfortable, see your doctor. 80% of sinusitis will get better without antibiotics.
