Diagnosed with a sinus infection. given augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate) and prednisone. 3 days later started coughing up thick green mucus. what should i do now?

Should contact Dr.: One's doctor will want to know, if a patient is not doing better. A change in therapy might be needed, if not doing better. However, if feeling much better, but just the mucus has changed, the doctor might just continue the same therapy and have the patient report back after another couple of days.
