Plantar fascia: You may have plantar fascia, repetitive micro-tears of the plantar fascia. The pain is localized to the central part of the heel of the foot, and can be worse with the first steps in the morning. Avoid prolonged weight bearing activities. Avoid walking on hard surfaces. Start using nsaids and ice therapy. Full recovery expected in a few weeks up to 6-18 months.
