Cramping in left calf. no meds to cause a blood clot, mirena iud, no swelling,redness or tenderness, no pain with flexing foot, but some pretty tight cramps. laid around a lot the last 3 days but tried to rotate ankles & stretch legs in bed often?

As you observed, there are no signs to suggest a DVT. You're also correct in doing stretching of your calves. Deficiency in serum calcium or magnesium are common causes of recurring muscle cramps. See your MD if symptoms persist.
