I have a lower gum on my lower left canine tooth. i just saw a dentist for my cleaning and check up just 5 months agoand he said all was good. what should i do?

Lower gum?: Did you mean tarter ? Or did you mean gum tissue partly covering your lower left canine. If it is tarter it can be cleaned off by a dentist, if it is gum tissue it might require a minor surgery/ laser procedure to trim it.

Probably o k: Gum recession can be common . If the gums are not inflamed, and recession is minimal, don't fret. However if the recession is more severe, see a gum specialist to address why the gum has receded.

Depends: The amount of recession depends on what the dentists sees. Not knowing how much recession it hard to answer. Most likely he would make note of this to see if there is any progression.
