Reducing the frequency of sugars in your mouth. 4. Use xylitol gum after meals if you can't brush. 5. Most importantly, see a dentist to get rid of your decay.

Two answers: You can only treat your dental decay by having a dentist complete a dental filling procedure. You may prevent further decay by flossing, brushing with a Fluoride tooth paste after each meal, getting a professional dental cleaning twice a year and by keeping in mind frequency of sugar intake is more important than the amount of sugar consumed. I hope this helps!

Regular checkups: There is no magic bullet to avoid tooth decay but there are strategies that can help. Regular dental check up with radiographs can spot early problems before they become big problems. Regular brushing and flossing will also reduce the risk of decay. Avoiding surgery drinks and foods along with carbonated beverages can also reduce your risk of tooth decay. For those with a dry mouth, sugarless.
