Diet, oral hygiene: There are thing that you can do to prevent cavities. First, oral hygiene. Brushing and flossing are critical. At least twice a day with soft toothbrush. Next, diet. Avoid sugary and acidic foods and especially drinks. Third, routine dental care and teeth cleanings.

Brush/floss/Fluoride: Proper application of a toothbrush, floss and Fluoride daily will keep the cavity bugs away. Brush 2-3 times/day. Floss daily. Fluoride 3-7 times/week: rinse and spit, don't swallow. See you dentist regularly.
