Would be enough, other cases you might need prescription pain meds.Like tylenol (acetaminophen) with codiene or vicodine to take the edge of the pain off, along with some anibiotics if the tooth was inflammed at time of ext.

Depends: Most oms's use a combination of three medications for wisdom tooth anesthesia. A benzodiazepine like versed or valium a narcotic like fentanyl or Demerol (meperidine hydrochloride) and a short acting barbiturate like Diprivan or brevital. There is a long list of other medications that can be used instead of or in addition to the above, but these are the most common.
