Perfectly Normal: It's normal to be concerned... After all, it is a minor surgical procedure... Then again, your oral surgeon has done this thousands of times... You're not his first patient! express your concerns to the surgeon; i'm sure after explaining the procedure again, you will be more at ease.

Wisdom tooth: extraction is a common procedure and there’s no shame in having an anxiety. Discuss your concerns with your surgeon and ask about sedation dentistry. Be positive and focus on the results, you will experience an improved quality of life. Good luck.

Normal: Normal to be nervous. For best results with wisdom teeth, make sure you are evaluated and treated by a board certified oral & maxillofacial surgeon. The more you know, the better you'll do. Oral surgeons can also use IV sedation to maximize comfort.
