What could be causing my abdominal pain and should i go to the emergency room?

Not enough info: You didn't give enough information. Abdominal pain can be a symptom of many conditions, some of them quite benign and some are very dangerous and life threatening, if in doubt, see your doctor , if abdominal pain is severe and interrupt your activities then go to er...Better safe than sorry.
