Yes: There can be many causes of pain in the right lower quadrant of the abdomen, but the one that is most concerning is appendicitis. If you have persistent pain in the right, especially if your abdomen is tender to touch or you have fevers, you should go to the emergency room immediately, if you can't get into see your doctor. Don't delay. Good luck.
