My pregnant wife aged 32 has a pain in her side, compared it to a stitch. upper left quadrant of abdomen. last night she fell over forward onto the bed, and felt winded. baby is still kicking and moving loads. should we go to the emergency room?

As long as...: "Stitches" here and there are normal in pregnancy. As long as baby is kicking, mom fells okay and there's no spotting, no need to go to the ER. It's probably safer not to considering the infections she could catch there. But if anything changes, go. Congrats!
