Several: Although most people will do well without the need for extra supplementation, the following can be helpful: betacarotene omega 3 lutein xeaxanthin (also, avoid overusing any supplement).

Many: Compounds thought to benefit the eyesight are those associated with good health. Additionally, the compounds that are present in leafy dark green vegetables are particularly good for macular degeneration patients. By extrapolation, many believe that these same nutrients are thought to be beneficial for normal eyes. These include zinc, vit c, e, and beta carotene. Others are being tested.
