Some of the common symptoms are jaw pain, jaw locking, jaw popping, ear pain, neck pain, severe headaches, ear stuffiness, and face pain and at times tingling. Possibly: Headaches and facial tingling can be some symptoms of tmj/tmd, but can also be symptoms of other ailments. Trigeminal neuralgia can produce symptoms that may be diagnosed as a TMJ problem, including migraine like symptoms and facial tingling. An in fected tooth can do the same. I would see a dentist/tmj specialist to hopefully determine the source.
