Absolutely: About half of my practice has no dental insurance whatsoever. Remember that as far as your teeth go, an ounce of prevention truly is better than pounds of "cure". You will save yourself a lot of money keeping your teeth healthy and getting them checked at least once a year. The cost of doing that will be only a fraction of your yearly cell phone or cable bill but can save $$$, time and emergencies.
