Be cool: she is in pain, so do not take her yelling and cussing personal. let her gargle with warm water and epson salt . avoid cold drink and solid food that required too much chewing. buy orajel from over the conter and apply it to the painful tooth. give her ibuprofen 600 mg every 4-6 hours for pain, but not on empty stomach eventually she has to see a dentist. SORRY.

Take Charge: She needs you to take control of the situation... she's not thinking straight because of the pain. Regardless of insurance you need to see a dentist since the pain will only get worse very quickly. This is an emergency and requires immediate action. All the best....

Call a dentist ASAP: Any other treatment is a temporary relief. A tooth pain won't go away without treatment and the infection may spread to your jaw, cheeks, sinus and to other areas of your head and neck. See your dentist ASAP. Happy wife, happy life!

DDS ASAP.: Regardless of insurance, you need to see a DDS. Local dental society may be able to help with recommendations for low cost or no cost care.

See dentist asap: See if you can make payments or see if there is a clinic or dental school near you that can give discounted care. You cannot cure this on your own.
