Is it safe to get a tattoo to cover keloids?

NO DON"T DO IT: If this is a true keloid, it will only make it worse. Stay far far away.

Safe but noeffective: Tattoo pigment is usually not well taken up in scar tissue so the cosmetic result may be less than expected. The trauma of the tattooing process may also make the keloiding worse.

No: You could traumatize the keloid and it would probably get worse. Not a good idea.
