A member asked:

What are characteristics of a multiple fracture?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Multiple Fracture: A bone which is broken in multiple places is what we call a comminuted fracture. Many factors, including location and degree of comminution, go into determining the best treatment. To the patient it won't feel any different than if you had only broken it in one place.
