Place?: How old is the child? Is it a birthmark? Or flat discoloration? Has it been there since birth? Or how long has it been there? Has it changed in shape, size or appearance? Skin lesions are difficult to comment on without being examined. Best to have your pediatrician look at it for proper diagnosis and advice.
