Fasting? A1c level?: Did you fast overnight before testing your blood glucose? How did you do the test? It would be better to see your doctor for a proper fasting plasma glucose test. If that show a reading 100 or higher, you would be considered pre-diabetic. See this site for more info. http://diabetes.niddk.nih.gov/dm/pubs/diagnosis/#2.
