Good evening doctors. my bloodwork showed glucose fasting 101. in the past my fasting glucose was around 93, but within normal range. a1c is 5.3 could these blood test results suggest or indicate prediabetes or diabetes?

These blood tests sound normal. A fasting blood sugar up to 110 or so is normal and a hemoglobin A1C of less than 6 is also normal so these tests do not indicate diabetes or pre-diabetes. If there is concern about developing diabetes, a hemoglobin A1C can be re-checked in about 3 months. Good luck!
