Depends: It depends on type of ache. Hot and cold, pressure? Do you have a filling on the next tooth so there could be an electric reaction between the two teeth? The rule is to go back to the dentist who did the filling and let the dentist check it out. Going on line is not going to help you.

Toothache: The toothache may have already been a problem but perhaps did not manifest until the adjacent tooth was treated or the pain may be originating from the tooth with the new filling but radiating to the adjacent tooth. Some discomfort is common after dental procedures but it would be in your best interest to ask your dentist to reevaluate the area.
