Can a high tooth filling that was also slight deep cause cold/ hot sensitivity, ear pain, & toothache pain?

Yes: If by high filling you mean one that was not properly polished down to the level of the tooth before the filling was placed, yes, it could cause all of these things. You need to return to your dentist for proper testing with carbon paper and polishing until you are comfortable. Good luck!

Sensitive tooth: You had surgery done that approached the nerve of the tooth. Healing may be protracted. If the restoration is ever so slightly (fractions of a millimeter) over contoured, the tooth may be sensitive. So what should you do? Return to your treating Dentist fora reevaluation.
