Try to: Exercise machines (not sure exactly which youre referring to) try to simulate activities of different sports to some extent but they can never really do that the machines try to strengthen the muscles that are most intrinsic to particular sports also plyometrics can be helpful to gear oneself toward a specific sport or activity unfortunately, no one activity can truly equal actually playing sport.
