Not at all: Remember there are so many factors that go into an accurate calculation of caloric expenditure, expect that the number reported from a machine may be 20% of more off. Why so high, remember that most machines actually include your resting metabolic rate in the numbers reported(which is the number of calorie your body uses just to survive), on top of the estimated calories burned during exercise.
