What if ct scan, untrasound , mri and spect are all inconclusive but my doctor's impression is that it is a hemangioma. should i request a biopsy?

Follow your doctor's: Advice. What organ is affected? Likely it is liver and hemagiomas are common in liver and not likely to casue problem. Biopsy of a hemangioma is fraught with the risk of bleeding.

No : If his suspicion that you have a hemangioma then listen to him or her. You generally want to avoid a biopsy of a hemangioma because it is a collection of blood vessels. If someone biopsies a hemangioma then it will bleed.
